Yosef has worked for the past 19 years in a dairy farm in Kibbutz Holit, together with his three children. At the end of the work day, he went with his daughter to pick olives in the entrance area of the kibbutz - where they encountered the terrorists. His children, Hamza, Bilal and Aisha were also kidnapped. Hamas channels showed pictures of Hamza and Bilal with an armed Hamas man above them. Yosef and Aisha were also photographed. Following the photographs, it is assumed that they were kidnapped. Yosef is a diabetic and needs medication. Aisha and Bilal were released from captivity on 30.11.23, Hamza and Yosef remained captives of Hamas.
